The purpose of this event is to raise funds for the Explorers of Post 196 to attend a Fire Cadet Training Program held at Illinois Fire Safety Institute at the University of Illinois in Champaign at the end of June. The Fire Cadet Training Program is a three day event that allows the Explorer's more hands on real life training scenarios as they further pursue their careers in the Fire and Emergency Medical fields. Coffee will be served while you wait for your vehicle to be washed and detailed. We will feature Old #1 and Engine #2 for display at the station for picture opportunities and public education.
